Diagnostic Radiology PowerPoint for Colleagues
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m putting together a professional-level slide deck that introduces diagnostic radiology in broad terms yet drills down into the everyday “basic” imaging we perform here at WMed Health. The audience is medical audience, so the tone and depth need to match their background knowledge.
Content scope
• Start with a concise overview of CT, MRI, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and conventional radiography so everyone has the full landscape in mind.
• Shift quickly to what we actually use day-to-day: plain films for bones, lungs and abdomen, plus the limited ultrasound available in OB and occasionally in different doctor offices. this is a clinic
• Give special attention to the five fundamental X-ray densities—air, fat, fluid/soft tissue, and metal-plastic—showing how recognising each one drives our interpretations.
• Stress why two images matter. I like the classic “child behind a tree” analogy, so please visualise that: one image hides the child, the lateral reveals them standing beside the trunk.

Visual aids
Real-life radiographs are essential. I need clear, de-identified images that demonstrate:
- Typical and occult fractures
- Correct and misplaced line/tube placement
- Free intraperitoneal air
- Pneumonia vs aspiration changes
- Pleural effusion and other fluid collections
- Gas patterns in bowel obstruction
Each slide should have the relevant density or abnormality clearly labelled directly on the image.
The presentation should feel cohesive: consistent fonts, colour palette suited to a clinical setting, minimal text per slide and speaker-friendly notes beneath. Deliver the final file in editable PowerPoint (.pptx) format so I can tweak or append future cases.
Milestone acceptance
1. Draft slide outline for my approval.
2. Image set with annotations cleared for HIPAA compliance.
3. Final polished deck delivered and ready to present.
