Character Consumer Product Designer

First 4 Figures is looking to hire a product designer that can design licensed product/sundries/lifestyle merchandise from famous video game and anime licenses.

Responsibilities

Product design of licensed character merchandise and lifestyle products
Suggest innovative ideas and methods for reducing development timelines.
Manage the early phases of design and development with other disciplines within the company.
Present product line and strategy to senior management.
Guide through products development from design to production.
Monitor product quality throughout production. Troubleshoot quality issues and provide corrective plan.

Skills:

Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic product design
Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and 2D computer programs.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Knowledge of materials
Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
Excellent communication, influencing and follow up skills.
Planning skills, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects.
Product Development Knowledge.
Good knowledge of product development processes and production planning experience.
Knowledge of CAD including model making process and injection molding tool design is preferred.
