About Company:
DSET (Democratic Society and Emerging Technology Research Center), a Taiwan-based policy research institution, is seeking experienced researchers, consultants, and community practitioners for a long-term remote research initiative focused on Tibetan exile communities and diaspora governance across the Indo-Pacific region.

Responsibilities:
Conduct policy-oriented research and provide insights on Tibetan diaspora communities, governance structures, civic participation, and community development;
Support analysis related to diaspora institutions, education networks, cultural preservation, and transnational social networks;
Prepare analytical notes, briefings, and research reports;
Participate in long-term research collaboration and confidential consultations where appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with Tibetan exile institutions, diaspora organizations, NGOs, academic institutions, or community leadership bodies;
Strong understanding of diaspora governance, democratic participation, and minority community affairs;
Excellent analytical and report-writing skills;
English fluency preferred; Tibetan or regional language skills are an advantage.

Compensation
Compensation follows a hybrid consultancy model combining a monthly retainer and performance-based project payments.
