Role Overview
We are seeking a Cross-Border Intelligence & Political Adviser to contribute to advisory and research engagements focused on trade ecosystem modernization, institutional benchmarking, and corridor development. This role bridges technical research with strategy delivery, supporting government clients and development organizations in shaping future-ready trade frameworks.
Ideal for candidates with a background in trade systems, logistics reform, or institutional development, this opportunity involves close work with policy, infrastructure, and regulatory data to produce actionable insights for complex trade environments.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze cross-border trade architecture and infrastructure performance across global and regional contexts
Contribute to strategy papers, technical diagnostics, and institutional assessments for public-sector modernization
Track regulatory alignment efforts (e.g., WTO TFA, bilateral trade agreements, customs integration)
Support scenario development and strategic foresight activities for corridor resilience and trade competitiveness
Draft stakeholder maps and process models for trade governance institutions and logistics actors
Collaborate on policy briefs, validation sessions, and advisory deliverable for multilateral or government clients
Synthesize complex policy and operational data into practical frameworks for decision-makers
Qualifications
Undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics, Trade Policy, Public Administration, or a related field
3–6 years of relevant experience in consulting, trade facilitation, or institutional reform
Experience with Middle East trade corridors or Gulf infrastructure strategy is a plus
Demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely for executive audiences
Comfortable working with trade data, international benchmarks, and regulatory frameworks
Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage for regional engagement
