I have received quantity sheets from our contractors for a 28 m × 23 m G+3 building and need a fresh set of eyes on the numbers. Using Excel spreadsheets, you will:
• Cross-check the contractor’s take-offs against the drawings and BOQ.
• Flag any discrepancies or omissions in a clear “Variance” column.
• Summarise your findings in a short narrative (one-page) highlighting areas that need clarification.
All measurements and assumptions must be traceable back to the original documents so I can defend them in follow-up meetings. A concise, well-structured Excel file with comments and your one-page summary are the only deliverables—I’m keeping the scope lean and focused on accuracy.
