Steel Truss Welding Expertise Needed
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m coordinating the fabrication and on-site assembly of large-scale structural steel trusses for a multi-story build in Bradenton, FL. All members are carbon steel and every weld will form part of the primary load-bearing framework, so code-compliant, full-penetration work is essential. You’ll be working at height alongside our erection crew, reading shop drawings, fitting, tacking, and completing final welds that must pass municipal inspection.
On this project I need someone who already holds the relevant structural welding certifications (AWS or equivalent), is comfortable with SMAW and FCAW on thick sections, and follows OSHA standards without exception. If you have your own basic rig and PPE, even better—just let me know what you’ll bring.
Deliverables expected:
• Field-welded steel trusses installed per drawings
• Visual and bend-test-ready welds that satisfy the city inspector
• Daily safety and progress updates until the last pass is signed off
Work is ready to start as soon as I lock in the right welder, and the schedule is tight, so availability over the next few weeks is a plus.
