Steel Construction Cost Estimate
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
I have a construction project moving into detailed planning and need a precise, professionally prepared estimate for all steel elements. Your task is limited to material costs only—labour, equipment, and other trades are being handled separately—so I’m looking for someone who can focus exclusively on the full steel package.
The scope covers:
• A complete quantity take-off for every steel member, plate and connection accessory shown on the drawings I will supply (PDF + DWG).
• Current market pricing sourced from recognised suppliers, including transport to site, taxes and a realistic wastage allowance.
• An easy-to-follow breakdown in Excel (or CostX / Bluebeam if you prefer) that lets me see unit rates, subtotals by structural element and the final rolled-up material figure.
• A short written note describing the assumptions, codes or catalogues you referenced so my internal team can audit the numbers quickly.
Accuracy is key: I expect all quantities to tie back to the drawings, rounded only where industry standards dictate. If something on the plans looks ambiguous, flag it before proceeding—I’d rather clarify up front than revise later.
Please outline the software you’ll use, confirm you can start this week, and estimate how many days you’ll need once you have the full drawing set from me.
