Stamped Residential Framing Revision/Repair Letter
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m midway through a whole-house renovation and the city reviewer flagged several framing changes. To move the permit forward I need a licensed structural engineer to analyse the updated framing layout and issue a formal revision letter.
Here’s what the city explicitly asked for in that letter:
• Materials and methods proposed for the revised framing
• Confirmation that the revisions comply with current local building codes
• Your engineering certification, including signed and stamped drawings where necessary
You’ll receive my as-built photos, current architectural set, and the original permit drawings the moment we start. After your review, I’ll need the stamped letter (PDF) plus any updated sheets ready for direct upload to the city’s portal. A brief call to walk me through any field adjustments would be appreciated.
