Side gig for construction professionals for Drywall Video Collection
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’m assembling a library of raw, on-site video clips that capture apartment or warehouse projects in the drywall phase anywhere in the United States. I’m interested in footage that shows real-world conditions from installation all the way through the first coat of paint—including worker activities, tool usage, and safety practices.
What I need from you
• Short, steady clips filmed vertically on a phone — iPhone preferred and no editing required, just the original files.
• Clear views of the drywall: installation process, completed installation, taping completed, mudding or sanding completed stages.
• Natural ambient sound; no voice-overs necessary.
• Basic shot notes: location (city/state only), date, stage shown, and approximate apartment size.
• Video should not be blurry, too fast or too slow. A typical 2-bedroom NY apartment can be completed in 5-6 mins.
Why you’re a fit
If you’re currently working in the construction industry you already have routine access to active sites, making it easy to capture authentic footage without disrupting work schedules.
How we’ll work
Once we agree, I’ll outline the number of clips and file-transfer method. You can upload as you go, and I’ll review each batch promptly so you get feedback while still on site.
Send a brief message confirming your role on site and the type of projects you can film. A quick sample clip or even a smartphone snapshot of today’s work area will help speed up approval.
Payment: $1.5 - 2 per apartment. Similar to warehouse depending on size of property and length of video.
