Residential Proposal Writing Expert - 28/01/2026 17:16 EST
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a residential build ready to move from concept to contract and need the entire proposal written from scratch. All of the technical inputs—drawings, cost estimates, and timeline notes—are in place; what’s missing is a persuasive, well-structured document that wins stakeholder confidence.
Because this is strictly a residential project, every section must speak the language of homeowners, lenders, and local inspectors rather than the broader tone you might use for commercial or industrial work. I do not have an existing template, so part of the assignment is to create a clean, professional layout I can reuse on future bids.
Deliverables I need from you:
• A fully written, client-ready residential construction proposal (Word + PDF)
• A custom, editable template that matches the proposal’s look and feel
• A brief style guide so I can update figures or milestones later without breaking the formatting
Your writing should be concise yet detailed enough to cover scope, approach, schedule, and cost breakdowns in language that a non-technical client understands. Strong command of MS Word (or InDesign if you prefer) is essential, and familiarity with residential building codes or permitting requirements will be a plus.
Once I provide the raw numbers and drawings, I’d like the first draft within a week, with time for two revision rounds afterward. If this fits your skill set and schedule, I’m ready to share the project files and kick things off right away.
