Residential Gypsum Foreman Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m looking for an experienced gypsum foreman to run the drywall phase on a residential build. You’ll take full ownership of the installation of drywall, guide and motivate the onsite crew, and keep a close eye on quality so every sheet hangs flat, joints stay tight, and the work passes inspection the first time.
Because this is a residential project, the environment is fast-paced and detail-driven. I need someone who already excels at reading plans, sequencing crews room-by-room, and spotting issues before the inspectors do. Strong communication, solid leadership, and proven problem-solving skills are essential; please outline any specialty techniques (e.g., fire-rated assemblies, sound-proofing, specialty trims) you routinely handle.
Deliverables and acceptance criteria
• Complete drywall installation for the entire residence, hung, taped, sanded, and ready for paint
• Daily coordination with carpentry and MEP trades to stay on schedule
• Written quality-control checklist signed off at each milestone (hang, tape, final sand)
• Final walkthrough with me and the local inspector, with any punch-list items resolved within 48 hours
