Residential Construction BOQ Preparation
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a detailed Bill of Quantities for a new residential construction project. The drawings, specifications, and any clarifying notes will be shared as soon as we start, and I’d like you to turn them into a clear, item-by-item BOQ that can go straight to tender.
Use the standard method of measurement you are most comfortable with (POMI, SMM7, or CESMM are all acceptable) and structure the document so that every element of work is easy for contractors to price and for me to track during execution. Accuracy in take-offs is critical; please double-check dimensions and flag any missing information before you proceed.
Deliverables:
• An editable Excel (or compatible) BOQ, grouped logically by trade or work section.
• A brief summary sheet showing subtotal per section and the overall project total.
• A short notes page highlighting any assumptions or exclusions you had to make.
I’m aiming for a quick turnaround but prefer quality over speed, so let me know your realistic timeframe and any questions you have once you see the drawings.
