Our multidisciplinary team includes experts in structural, architectural, and MEP design, and we are currently seeking a full-time Structural Designer to support our growing workload.

Position Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced Structural Designer to join our team on a remote, contract basis. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in independent work, possesses strong construction knowledge, and can produce high-quality documentation without the need for site visits or relocation. The ideal candidate will be comfortable collaborating with remote teams and managing deliverables with minimal oversight.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop structural calculations to support design documentation
• Redline architectural plans to incorporate structural scope
• Produce structural drawings for permit approval
• Work within an AutoCAD-based environment (Revit not required)
• Coordinate effectively with architectural and MEP teams remotely
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and support high-load systems
• Utilize your own preferred structural calculation software

Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial or industrial structural design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with other platforms is acceptable but not required)
• Ability to work remotely with a reliable workstation, internet connection, and communication tools
• No formal degree or licensure required—proven skill and experience are paramount
• Strong self-management skills and ability to meet deadlines independently
