Full MEP & Structural Take-Off
Budget: $10 – $30 CAD
I have a complete set of structural, mechanical and electrical drawings for a new building and I need a comprehensive construction take-off prepared from them. The job covers every trade shown on the plans—structure, HVAC and plumbing runs, as well as lighting, power and low-voltage—so the final schedule must capture every nut, bolt and cubic metre.
For the structural portion I expect concrete volumes, reinforcing steel tonnage and formwork areas for all major elements (footings, slabs, beams, columns, walls, cores, stairs, etc.). Mechanical and electrical quantities should be broken down by size, length or count as appropriate—ductwork by metre and diameter, piping by service and size, cable runs in metres, fixtures and equipment by unit.
Please base all measurements directly on the issued drawings; note any assumptions in a remarks column. I need the figures delivered in a clean, well-organised Excel workbook, accompanied by marked-up PDF sheets that show exactly where every take-off came from. Use whichever software you prefer—Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, Trimble, Cubit, Revit add-ins—so long as the output is accurate and easy to audit.
Deliverables:
• Excel BOQ with detailed line items and drawing references
• Marked-up PDFs for visual verification
• Brief summary sheet highlighting total concrete, steel, formwork, major MEP quantities and any exclusions
Accuracy, traceability and clarity are the key acceptance criteria. Let me know your estimated turnaround time and any information you require before starting.
