House structure Material Quantity Take-Offs
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a complete set of architectural and structural drawings for a ±400 m² double-storey home and need a precise material take-off for the foundation only. The foundation will be built with clay bricks and Portland cement, so please focus exclusively on those items along with the required building sand.
Deliverables
• Clay render bricks and face bricks– exact count for all walls and piers
• Portland cement – number of 50 kg bags (state bag size assumed)
• Building sand – cubic metres, with any wastage allowance shown
Present the results in an unlocked Excel workbook that includes drawing references, element descriptions, calculated quantities, units, and brief calculation notes; list all mix ratios and wastage assumptions in a separate tab. Planswift, Bluebeam Revu, AutoCAD, or similar take-off tools may be used as long as the spreadsheet shows transparent formulas.
Accuracy must be within ±2 % when spot-checked against the supplied PDFs/DWGs, as these figures feed directly into procurement. Indicate your turnaround time and the software you intend to use. Successful completion of this foundation package will position you for the superstructure and finishing take-offs that will follow.
