Detailed BoQ & Cost Estimate
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I need a complete, trade-broken Bill of Quantities for a new custom-build residence in Wembley Downs, Western Australia. You will be working off the full residential construction drawing set that I’ll supply (architectural, structural and services).
Specification level: mid–high range, yet using standard materials as noted on the plans. Please include allowances that reflect local WA rates and current market conditions.
Scope of measurement
• Foundation and Structure
• Electrical and Plumbing
• Finishes and Landscaping
Deliverables
1. An Excel workbook (my required format) with separate, clearly-labelled sheets for each construction stage listed above.
2. Quantities, units, unit rates and extended totals for every item, rolled up into trade subtotals and an overall project total.
3. A concise summary page highlighting provisional sums and any assumptions you needed to make.
Acceptance criteria
• Quantities trace back unambiguously to the drawing references.
• Rates align with reputable Perth cost databases or recent contractor pricing (cite your source).
• Excel formulas remain live so I can adjust variables later.
Send a short note on your methodology and estimated turnaround time when you submit your proposal.
