Crawl Space Cleanup & Vapor Barrier
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
The crawl space under my home is only partially cluttered, but before I can protect it properly I need every stray item, old insulation scrap, and bit of debris gone. Once the area is clear and the soil is smoothed, I want a sturdy vapor barrier rolled out, seams taped, and edges secured to the foundation walls so moisture stays out for good.
You’ll supply the labor, know-how, and basic tools—shop vac, rakes, fasteners, tape—while I’ll have the barrier material itself on-site. If you spot any minor issues while you’re down there (a tear in existing insulation, a loose vent screen, etc.), flag them and we can decide on the spot whether to tackle them.
The job is finished when:
• All debris is removed and the crawl space is swept or raked clean.
• A continuous, wrinkle-free vapor barrier covers the entire ground surface with properly sealed seams and perimeter.
• Digital photos show each stage (before, midway, after) so I can keep them for my records.
Let me know your estimated hours and earliest availability, and we can lock in a date.
