Construction Plan Takeoff Expert

We receive large, multi-trade construction master plans and need the key data distilled so we can submit accurate bids for the finishes package. The focus is painting, although drywall, joint sealant and waterproofing still appear in the plans and must be captured when they affect the paint scope.

Here is what we rely on you to hand back to me:

• A complete materials list tied to the drawing references
• Labor requirements broken down by task and crew type
• All trade-specific instructions hidden in the notes or schedules
• Verified square footage and area measurements for every paintable surface
• Paint specification call-outs (manufacturer, finish, colour code) and the scheduled number of coats
• Any scope commentary that will influence pricing or sequencing

You will zoom through the drawings, schedules, finish legends and detail sheets, translate them into clean, organized spreadsheets or marked-up PDFs, and flag any discrepancies before they cost us money. Accuracy and patience are critical because the architectural sets are large and not always separated neatly by trade.

If you have experience with industry take-off tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam Revu, OST or similar) mention it, but good old-fashioned precision and a clear, well-presented output are what we value most.
