Construction Accountant with Viewpoint Experience

My team runs several commercial-scale builds and I need an accountant who can step straight into our workflow in Viewpoint Vista. You’ll take ownership of the project budgets, keep daily cost data clean and current, and translate the numbers into concise monthly reports that the field team and executives can act on.
Key tasks
• Maintain and adjust project budgets in Vista, flagging variances early.
• Track committed costs, change orders, and actuals so the WIP schedule is always reliable.
• Produce timely financial reports (job cost, cost-to-complete, cash-flow forecasts) in formats our lenders and bonding partners already expect.
The Vista environment is set up; you should be comfortable navigating JCs, PM modules, and standard report writer tools at an intermediate level so you can work without heavy training.
Commercial construction experience is essential—most of our contracts are GMP or cost-plus, and familiarity with their nuances will help you spot margin erosion before it’s too late.
Deliverables will be reviewed against contract budgets and our existing Excel reconciliation sheets. Clear, accurate data in Vista and a digestible monthly package are the acceptance criteria.
