Commercial Hydraulic Fire Estimation Support
Budget: $8 – $15 AUD
I have a steady flow of commercial projects—schools, pavilions and other tier-1 builds—that need reliable hydraulic plumbing and fire service estimates ready to go as soon as drawings land on my desk. What I’m looking for is a contractor who can step in at the pre-construction stage, develop sharp numbers, and then stay on to see the job through installation if we proceed. Also provide completion job manuals and as-builts.
Your day-to-day will involve interpreting consultant drawings, compiling clear material take-offs and producing fully costed quotes that I can put straight in front of the client. Once a project is awarded, I expect the same attention to detail carried over into on-site installation, coordinating with other trades to keep timelines tight.
Deliverables for each job:
• Itemised material take-off in Excel (or your preferred estimating software)
• Labour and plant breakdown for both hydraulic and fire scopes
• Fully formatted client-ready quote, including provisional sums and clarifications
• Optional: installation programme and procurement schedule if we move into delivery
You’ll need proven experience on commercial builds of a similar scale, sound knowledge of local codes and standards, and solid command of common tools such as Bluebeam, Revit or CAD-based take-off platforms.
If you can turn drawings into numbers quickly and back them up with quality on-site work, let’s talk about the next set of plans in my inbox.
