South African Materials Takeoff

Job ID: 39816447

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have a set of fully detailed plans ready to go—some cover brand-new residential or commercial builds, others are targeted renovations. What I need now is a seasoned quantity surveyor who knows South African supplier rates inside out. Your task is to study each drawing, extract every line-item material, and attach realistic local pricing so that I can see an accurate bill of quantities before procurement begins.

The plans are complete, so you can dive straight into measurement and costing. I’m looking for current market rates in Rand, along with any regional price variations you feel are relevant. If you spot alternative materials that could lower costs without compromising spec, please flag them.

Deliverables:
• Itemised materials take-off for each project (Residential New Build, Residential Renovation, Commercial New Build, Commercial Renovation)
• Unit, rate, quantity, subtotal and grand total in a clean, sortable spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets)
• Brief notes on pricing assumptions and the supplier data or catalogues used

Accuracy and local insight are paramount; I’ll review your figures against my target budget before moving to tender. If you have recent experience with South African residential and commercial projects, I’d love to see a sample of your previous BOQ work when you apply.
