Solar Quoting & Estimating Specialist (Residential & Commercial – AU Based Preferred)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced solar estimating and quoting specialist to support our growing electrical and solar business in Australia. You will be responsible for preparing accurate, professional quotes for both residential and commercial solar installation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotes for solar PV and battery systems.
Interpret site data, customer info, and design inputs
Work with our current tools: SolarPlus, AroFlo, and Google Sheets
Ensure estimates are compliant with Australian standards, Clean Energy Council (CEC) guidelines, and STC rebate eligibility
Assist with commercial tenders as needed
Required Skills & Experience:
Proven experience with solar quoting and estimating (residential and/or commercial)
Strong knowledge of Australian solar regulations, STCs, and rebate programs
Proficient with:
SolarPlus (or similar solar quoting software)
AroFlo (job/quote management)
Go High Level CRM (preferred, not essential)
High accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in solar design, estimating, or project management
Experience using tools like Nearmap, Solar plus , or OpenSolar
Any relevant certifications or CEC accreditation (optional but valued)
