On-Site Union Crew Supervisor
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need a dependable point-person in Chicago who can stand in for me on hotel-branding installations whenever my schedule pulls me away. You will arrive before the union crew, review the day’s scope with me by phone, then take charge on site. The role leans heavily on strong organizational skills: you’ll check workers in, hand out and collect their W-9 and I-9 packets, brief them on the task sequence, and keep everyone moving according to the hotel’s timetable and union guidelines. Clear, calm communication with both the crew steward and the property contact is key, as is sending me a quick progress text and photo at agreed milestones.
Deliverables each shift:
• Crew roster confirmed and signed in
• W-9 / I-9 forms distributed, completed, and scanned back to me
• Work areas opened, tasks assigned, crew actively working within 30 minutes of call time
• End-of-day summary detailing completed sections and any punch-list items
