Restoration Project Manager With Xactimate
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I run a busy fire- and water-damage restoration company and need a project manager who can step in immediately and keep every claim moving. The heart of the role is producing accurate, defensible estimates in Xactimate, then shepherding the insurance claim through to approval while keeping an eye on daily job progress in the field.
You must already be fluent in Xactimate, understand the language of adjusters, and have hands-on experience with mitigation or reconstruction projects—otherwise the learning curve will be too steep. Once a loss is assigned, I’ll count on you to gather site notes or sketches, write the estimate the same day, submit it to the carrier, and track open items until the claim is settled. While that is happening, you’ll stay in touch with our technicians, update the scope as changes arise, and make sure the homeowner always knows what comes next.
Deliverables I measure you by:
• A complete Xactimate estimate for every new job within 24 hours of receiving the file
• Weekly status reports showing claim movement, carrier feedback, and any reserves still outstanding
• A brief progress log that the field team can follow so production stays aligned with the approved scope
• A close-out package—final invoice, photos, signed completion certificate—ready for billing when work finishes
