Restaurant Site Civil Engineering

Job ID: 39878168

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m getting ready to build a new restaurant in Moab, Utah and need a licensed civil engineer to turn the raw site into a permit-ready project. The parcel is currently undeveloped, so I’m starting from a clean slate and will rely on you for the full civil package—from preliminary concepts through stamped construction plans that the City and County will accept.

What I expect to come out of this collaboration is straightforward: a coordinated set of grading, drainage, and utility plans that show exactly how the building pad, parking, sidewalks, water, sewer, and stormwater controls will be laid out and tied into public infrastructure; any reports or calculations the local reviewers typically request; and guidance during the permit process so revisions are handled quickly.

I already have an architect working on the building itself, and our schedules are moving quickly, so I’m looking for someone who can start right away, communicate clearly, and stay engaged until we have the final approvals in hand. Experience in Utah—especially Moab’s unique soil and drainage conditions—will be a big plus.

If you’re confident you can deliver stamped drawings, respond with a brief note on your approach, similar projects you’ve completed, and your estimated timeline to first-submittal.
