Residential Final Inspection Specialist
Budget: £10 – £15 GBP
My small-scale residential build is almost finished and I now need a freelance clerk of works / site manager to carry out the final inspections before hand-over. The structure is up, the trades are off site in the next few days, and I want a fresh set of expert eyes to make sure every item meets spec and that nothing is missed during snagging.
You will walk the entire property, check workmanship against drawings and Building Regs, photograph and note any defects, then issue a clear, prioritised snag list that the main contractor can action. A concise sign-off summary confirming compliance will close the job.
Deliverables (all digital):
• Full room-by-room inspection report with photos
• Consolidated snagging / defect schedule (spreadsheet or PDF)
• Final compliance summary ready for client hand-over
The site can be inspected during normal working hours this week. Please confirm your availability, relevant residential experience, and the format you prefer for reports so I can grant you access to plans and previous inspection notes.
