One-on-One MS Project Training
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m a complete beginner with MS Project and want to become fully self-sufficient, from opening a blank schedule through to publishing clear, professional reports and charts. You use the software every day, so I’d like to tap into that practical experience during live, screen-sharing sessions.
My learning goals
• Basic setup and navigation so I can create a clean, well-structured plan from scratch.
• Task and resource management that goes beyond theory—real-world tips for linking tasks, handling dependencies, assigning people or equipment, and dealing with schedule slippage.
• Generating reports and charts on status, cost, and resource utilisation that I can share with stakeholders without extra formatting work.
Context
I manage a mix of projects—construction, IT/software, event planning, and occasionally others—so examples or templates that translate across industries will help me most.
Ideal delivery
1. A short discovery call to map out my objectives and timeline.
2. A series of interactive sessions (recorded for replay) where you demonstrate, then watch me replicate each step.
3. Homework files for practice and a final session focused on building a custom dashboard/report pack I can re-use.
Acceptance criteria
• I can create a schedule with tasks, resources, baselines, and critical path identified.
• I can produce at least three built-in reports and one custom chart that auto-updates.
• I leave with a concise cheat-sheet or template set reflecting the workflows we covered.
If this approach works for you, let’s confirm the session schedule and tools for screen sharing so we can get started right away.
