Modern Living Room Fit-Out Supervision
Budget: $3,000 – $5,000 USD
I’m taking a residential living-room renovation from concept right through to hand-over and need a seasoned interior professional who can own the entire fit-out process while keeping the look clean, modern and on budget.
Here’s what the role entails. You’ll translate my concept sketches into fully-detailed AutoCAD drawings, complete with elevations, joinery details, reflected ceiling plans and accurate dimensions ready for contractor pricing. From there, you’ll create a clear material and finishes schedule that lists every item—paint codes, upholstery fabrics, lighting specs, hardware, the works—so nothing slips through the cracks when we start ordering.
Once documentation is signed off, you’ll shift into site-supervision mode: coordinating contractors and suppliers, sequencing deliveries, chairing weekly site meetings and issuing any updated drawings or site instructions that arise. Regular inspections will be critical; I’m counting on you to flag workmanship issues early, make sure installed items match the approved specs and keep a tight grip on both timeline and cost.
Deliverables
• Full set of AutoCAD construction drawings (DWG + PDF)
• Itemised material & finish schedule with supplier references
• Weekly progress / snagging reports and updated programmes
• Final sign-off report confirming quality compliance
Acceptance criteria
All drawings must be AutoCAD 2020-compatible, dimensions verified on site, and materials matched to the approved schedule. Practical completion is achieved only when snag lists are cleared and the room is ready for client move-in.
