Kent Utility Installation Site Manager

Job ID: 40046420

Budget: £36 – £0 GBP

I need an experienced site manager to take charge of a short-duration civils package in Dover, Kent for one week in January 2026. The work centres on a utility installation where fencing and handrail subcontractors will be on site, so proven supervision of these trades is essential.

My priority is safety: the role demands full CDM compliance and a current NEBOSH qualification. You’ll also draw on solid utility-installation know-how, even though much of your past management experience may have been on commercial building projects, as that proven organisational skill will help keep this tight schedule on track.

Key outcomes for the week
• Coordinate and brief all operatives each morning, confirming RAMS and permits.
• Oversee fencing and handrail crews, verifying workmanship against drawings and spec.
• Maintain daily site diary, photographs and progress updates for the client team.
• Enforce CDM regulations, carrying out toolbox talks and immediate corrective actions where required.
• Deliver a concise close-out report with signed checklists before leaving site.

If you can step into Dover, run a safe, efficient operation and hand back a tidy, well-documented site after five working days, I’d like to hear how you’d approach it.
