Florida Industrial Dock Grading Plans

Job ID: 40516210

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I need a full set of civil grading and construction plans for a below-ground loading dock at an industrial site here in Florida. The dock will serve standard-height semi-trailers, so floor elevation must sit roughly 4 ft below the exterior truck court while still tying smoothly into our existing slab.

Scope
• Develop finished-grade contours, cut/fill calculations, and spot elevations that show exactly how the excavators should shape the pit.
• Integrate a straightforward drainage system—catch basins, trench drains, and piping sized for local rainfall—so no water stands in the dock well.
• Design any retaining walls needed to hold back surrounding soil once we cut the pit; layout, footing details, and rebar schedules must be included.
• Provide concrete slab and pit wall thicknesses, slopes, jointing, and compressive-strength specs suitable for fork-lift and 80 k lb truck loads.
• Call out utility clearances but no new utility connections are planned at this time.

Input material
Our updated boundary/topographic survey is in progress; I’ll forward the CAD and PDF files the moment they land so you can tie your grades to verified benchmarks. I’ll also share geotechnical data from a nearby project if you need soil parameters for the wall design.

Deliverables
1. Signed and sealed civil drawings (PDF + AutoCAD Civil 3D files).
2. Brief calculation package for drainage sizing and wall stability.
3. A construction-phase grading table that my earthwork subcontractor can plug straight into their machine control.

I’d like the first draft within two weeks of receiving the topo, then one round of revisions for county comments. Let me know what you need up-front so we can keep this schedule tight.
