I’m ready to price three mid-rise (up to 15 stories) projects and want an experienced electrical estimator who enjoys working side-by-side—sharing ideas, asking questions, and keeping me ahead. My goal is to build an ongoing relationship where we can seamlessly tackle future bids together.
Here’s how we’ll work:
You’ll dive into the drawings, specs, and scope documents I send over, use Bluebeam, Accubid, or Planswift—whichever suits the task best—and develop detailed quantity take-offs and cost breakdowns. Your background in residential estimating will come in handy because these mid-rise jobs are multifamily, so familiarity with feeders, distribution equipment, and unit rough-ins is essential. Once you’ve pulled the numbers, we’ll review them together, refine assumptions, flag any design gaps, and finalize a polished estimate ready for submission.
Deliverables for each project:
• Complete material and labor take-offs in native software files
• Marked-up PDFs showing counted devices, lights, feeders, conduits, appurtenances, supports, core drilling, wire, cable, etc.
• Itemized cost summary with clarifying notes on inclusions, exclusions, and allowances
