Construction Contract Dispute Resolution
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need an experienced legal professional to respond to a breach of contract situation in a residential construction project. The owner has failed to let contractor complete work in normal sequence, and the project is currently only partially completed.

Contact had a tentative completion date 1-1-2025
Contract completion date also extended two days for every rain day there were 35 days of rain during construction.
May 2025 Owner started interfering with job sequences only allowing parts of the project be to completed.
Owner stopped further work progress on 7-1-2025. Due to financial hardship.
Owner supplied construction drawings that errored. Site export was disclosed to be 1500 Cubic yards it was 3000 +-
Structural drawings were inadequate that had ongoing revisions to where the engineer issued a $5000 payment to owner.
Based on the errors in the owner supplied construction drawings owner entered into a time and material change order.
Owner refused to hire an interior decorator to determine interior or exterior finishes or select appliances.
Owner locked contractor off job and issued cancel contract on 11-17-2025
No mention of non performance until 11-17-2025
Owner financed project in 2021 hired a contractor that under budgeted the project received a construction loan from PNC bank without a finalized set of construction drawings that contractor left the project.
PNC bank issued letter to be notarized by owner that all overages must be paid prior to release of construction line item proceeds.
Owner received revised budget sheet $1.8m signed a change order CCO #01 of $420,000.00
Owner signed CCO #02 to change the contract to time and material.
