Concrete Construction Estimator Needed

Job ID: 40412150

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I am starting a concrete construction company called Boanergio Concrete. We are based in the New Jersey / New York area and will focus on residential and light commercial concrete work.

I am looking for an experienced concrete construction estimator who can help me figure out how much I should be charging customers per job. I need pricing that is competitive enough to win jobs, but also profitable. I do not want to be the cheapest company, and I do not want to overprice myself out of the market.

The goal is to build a clear, repeatable pricing system that helps me estimate jobs confidently and professionally.

Type of Work We Plan to Do
We plan to focus on concrete jobs such as:

Concrete driveways

Concrete slabs

Garage slabs

Shed slabs

Patios

Walkways

Sidewalks

Concrete pads

Small residential flatwork

Light commercial concrete work

Concrete demo and replacement

Base prep, gravel, sand, forms, rebar, wire mesh, pouring, finishing, saw cuts, and cleanup

We may also add other concrete services in the future, but right now the main focus is driveways, slabs, patios, walkways, and small-to-medium flatwork jobs.

What I Need Help With
I need someone who can help me create accurate pricing for concrete jobs, including:

Material cost

Concrete cubic yard calculation

Waste percentage

Gravel base cost

Sand cost when needed

Rebar or wire mesh cost

Forming material cost

Labor cost

Equipment cost

Dump fees

Delivery fees

Fuel cost

Overhead allocation

Profit markup

Residential versus commercial pricing

Minimum job price

Price per square foot for common jobs

Price per cubic yard for concrete work

Crew size needed per job type

Final customer price recommendation

Main Deliverables
I want the estimator to help me create:

A pricing guide for Boanergio Concrete

A price-per-square-foot range for each service

A job costing template

A profitable markup structure

A residential and commercial pricing difference

A minimum charge for small jobs

Example estimates for different job sizes

A system I can use when visiting customers

A list of questions I should ask customers before pricing a job

A way to avoid undercharging or overcharging

Example Jobs I Want Priced
Please be able to help estimate examples like:

Small driveway: 400 sq ft, 4 inches thick

Medium driveway: 800 sq ft, 4 to 5 inches thick

Large driveway: 1,500 sq ft, 5 to 6 inches thick

Backyard patio: 300 to 600 sq ft

Garage slab: 400 to 800 sq ft

Shed pad: 100 to 250 sq ft

Sidewalk or walkway: 100 to 500 sq ft

Small commercial slab: 1,000 to 3,000 sq ft

Each example should include material, labor, equipment, overhead, profit, and final customer price.

Ideal Candidate
The right person should have experience with:

Concrete estimating

Commercial concrete pricing

Flatwork estimating

Driveways, slabs, patios, sidewalks, and walkways

NJ/NY construction pricing, if possible

Labor and material cost breakdowns

Creating estimate templates

Helping new construction companies price jobs correctly
