Commercial Cost Review Surveyor
Budget: £5 – £10 GBP
I need an experienced freelance Quantity Surveyor to complete a full commercial review of an ongoing residential development. The priority is a detailed cost analysis built around the original Bill of Quantities, drilling into labour, material and subcontractor costs.
You will receive the full BoQ, all invoices and current cost records. Using these, I expect a clear set of reports that show where we stand today and what lies ahead:
• Costs to date against the BoQ, with variances flagged
• Trade/package breakdown for labour, materials and subcontractors
• Profit-and-loss position to date
• Forecast to completion (CVR) highlighting overspends and potential savings
• Cashflow status: invoiced, received and outstanding amounts
The project is UK-based residential, so familiarity with similar schemes—and the quirks of the Scottish market in particular—will help you move quickly. Work can be carried out remotely; on-site visits are not essential.
