Commercial Cabinetry Estimating Partner
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I run a custom cabinet and countertop shop that bids exclusively on commercial work. For each opportunity I receive a full plan set in PDF, and I rely on Vu360—or direct measurements from the PDFs—to generate accurate takeoffs. Your role is to translate those drawings and specifications into a concise, fully costed proposal I can submit to the general contractor.
Every estimate must show:
• Material costs broken down by sheet goods, hardwoods, tops, hardware, and finishes
• Labor costs for fabrication, finishing, delivery, and installation
• Any additional fees or contingencies that a prudent bidder would include
You will also note any exclusions or clarifications so the scope is crystal-clear.
I’ll send you drawings, specs, and required turnaround time on a project-by-project basis. Consistency and accuracy are more valuable to me than speed alone, as this will be an ongoing partnership across many bids.
