Civil Project Manager Needed
Budget: ₹2,500,000 – ₹5,000,000 INR
SCOPE OF ROLE - Gurugram, India
This position is responsible for managing the complete civil works execution and coordination for high-rise residential building projects (35+ floors). The candidate should be able to independently lead the project from start to completion as a Project Lead.
LEVEL OF AUTHORITY
Makes decisions based on company procedures and policies to achieve defined results and deadlines. Responsible for setting project and team timelines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisors.

JOB PURPOSE

ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Actively participate in initial design development and review the constructability of project designs.
- Review legal and statutory compliance of designs and follow up on obtaining timely approvals.
- Coordinate with all disciplines involved in project execution and consultants.
- Ensure contractors submit shop drawings and obtain necessary approvals.
- Implement approval conditions at the site during execution in a timely and sequential manner.
- Monitor execution of civil works (piling, diaphragm wall, superstructure, aluminum/Mivan shuttering, finishing) as per drawings, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Contribute to the selection of vendors and material suppliers in line with the agreed procurement process.
- Oversee installation and execution monitoring of structural and finishing works.
- Manage project handovers, ensuring completion as per contract and receipt of relevant documents (manuals, test certificates, as-built drawings).
- Organize training and handover sessions with contractors, consultants, and the project management team.
BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE
- 18+ years of experience in civil construction of high-rise residential buildings.
- Successfully completed at least one or two high-rise (35+ floors) projects from start to finish as Project Lead.
- Experience in aluminum/Mivan shuttering, piling, and diaphragm wall (D-Wall) works.
- Experience working with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) is mandatory.
- Capable of leading an internal team of 8 to 10 members.
- Strong leadership skills to coordinate with clients and all stakeholders (consultants, contractors).
- Proficient in project costing and overall execution of large-scale residential projects.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech or BE Civil) — mandatory.
- Master’s degree (MS or M.Tech) in Civil Engineering — preferred.
- Proven experience in high-rise residential construction projects.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Technical:
- Completed 1–2 high-rise residential projects (35+ floors) as Project Lead, from start to finish.
Supervisory:
- Monitor work progress at regular intervals.
- Provide technical guidance and training to team members.
- Coordinate work and assign tasks effectively.
Communication:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Ability to provide efficient, reliable, and courteous service to stakeholders.
- Effective presentation and reporting skills.
- Financial Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of financial principles.
- Ability to calculate percentages and other simple figures.
Reasoning Ability:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of interpreting and analyzing technical documents.
- Able to solve complex problems with multiple solutions.
Other:
- Proficient in project management and scheduling software (MS Project).
