Freelance Estimator Request – Civil Takeoffs & Bid Preparation (Single Bid)
We are requesting a full civil takeoff and bid preparation for the New Life Church project in Harris County, TX, based on the attached plan sets.
This request is for one complete bid, covering all civil, drainage, paving, and TXDOT-related work shown in the drawings.
Quantities should be clearly broken out by work category, but pricing should support a single combined bid.
PROJECT SCOPE – SINGLE BID
1. Site Prep & Demolition
Clearing and grubbing
Sawcutting existing pavement
Removal of existing asphalt
Removal of concrete curb, sidewalk, and flatwork
Haul-off and disposal
2. Earthwork & Grading
Cut and fill quantities
Subgrade preparation
Fine grading for parking areas, building areas, and drainage features
Excavation and backfill associated with utilities and storm systems
3. Paving & Flatwork
Concrete:
Sidewalks (SF and thickness)
Curbs (LF by type)
ADA ramps
Valley gutters
Fire lane concrete
Asphalt:
Parking lot paving (SF)
Base course (CY)
Tack coat
Striping and pavement markings
4. Storm Drainage & Utilities (Onsite + TXDOT Tie-In)
Storm pipe (LF by diameter)
Large-diameter storm pipe where shown
Inlets (type and quantity)
Junction boxes / manholes
Headwalls and outfall structures
Trenching, bedding, and backfill
Tie-ins to existing drainage systems (including TXDOT ROW where shown)
5. Detention Pond Work
Pond excavation volumes (CY)
Embankment construction
