Urgent Water Tie-In Shutdown Plan
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a seasoned pipeline or construction engineer to prepare a turnkey Tie-In Shut-Down Plan that lets us safely connect three new receiving tanks, a booster pump station, a 4.7 km trunk line up to Zone I, and a 0.74 km spur into Zone II.
Scope in a nutshell
• Receiving Station: 4 tie-ins (3 flanged, 1 field-weld)
• Zone I: 7 tie-ins (6 flanged, 1 field-weld)
• Zone II: 7 tie-ins (6 flanged, 1 field-weld)
What the final plan must cover
1. Step-by-step sequence of operations for every tie-in, showing isolation, draining, cutting, welding or bolting, NDT, reinstatement, and re-pressurisation.
2. Clearly defined shutdown and restart windows that keep our network live for the maximum possible time.
3. Comprehensive safety procedures: permits, confined-space rules, hot-work controls, lock-out/tag-out, and emergency response.
4. A pre-shutdown / construction schedule that meshes with our overall EPC timeline.
5. Tools & equipment list down to pumps, welding rigs, torquing tools, and temporary bypass piping.
6. Radiographic Testing in lieu of hydrotest for the field-weld connections, with acceptance criteria referenced to the applicable ASME/AWWA codes.
Deliverable
