Description:
We are seeking a licensed Florida structural engineer (PE) to prepare a complete structural engineering report and calculation package for a wood gazebo attached to a house in Hollywood, Florida (Broward County).

Project Details:

Structure: Wood Gazebo, attached to house

Dimensions: 16 feet (width) × 20 feet (length)

Posts: 6 posts, 4x4 pressure-treated

Roof type: Gable roof with single slope, 3.12 pitch

Material: Wood rafters and beam construction

Installation site: Residential property

Must comply with Florida Building Code (FBC 2023) and 170 mph wind zone requirements (Exposure C).

Deliverables:

Structural calculation report (PDF) stamped and signed by a Florida-licensed PE.

Framing plan showing post layout, beam/rafter size, and connection details.

Roof load, wind load, and foundation/post base design verification.

Engineer’s signature and seal for permit submission to City of Hollywood Building Department.

Requirements:

Must be a licensed Florida Professional Engineer (PE) in good standing.

Experience preparing structural calculations for wood patio covers, pergolas, or gazebos.

Deliver report in Word and PDF format (ready for permit submission).

No brokers, only independent licensed professionals.
