Florida Sewer & Water Design
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I need a Florida-licensed MEP engineer to turn my site layout (provided as an AutoCAD file) into a complete set of construction documents for the sewer and potable-water laterals that run from the planned commercial structure to the nearest public mains. All work must satisfy the current Florida Building Code and every pertinent section of the Charlotte County Code.
Scope
• Lay out pipe alignments, slopes, clean-outs, manholes, backflow prevention, sewer grinding station, water meters quantity 3, and connection points.
• Size pipes and specify materials; selection must conform to FBC and Charlotte County requirements, whether that means PVC, cast iron, copper, or any other code-approved option.
• Produce signed-and-sealed plan sheets, details, hydraulic calculations, and any utility application forms needed for permitting.
• Deliver both DWG and print-ready PDF sets and wet signature and seal paper plans.
Process & Milestones
I will submit your drawings to Charlotte County. A milestone is released each time the County issues an acceptance letter for that submission round. If the plans are formally rejected more than three times, the contract ends automatically, so accuracy on the first pass is critical.
Acceptance Criteria
• All drawings match the provided base CAD file and property survey.
• Plan set meets FBC and Charlotte County checklist items without requiring fundamental redesign.
• Final county approval obtained.
If you have recent experience getting underground utility plans through Charlotte County review, you’ll be able to move quickly. I’m ready to start as soon as you confirm availability.
