Expert Electrical Engineer for Drawings Review
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I am looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer/Electrical designer to support me over several months in reviewing and marking up electrical design drawings for construction documents. The work will include checking load calculations, panel schedules, feeder and conductor sizing, and breaker and overcurrent protection to ensure everything is accurate and compliant with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
Throughout the project, I will need the engineer/designer to provide redline markups and comments on PDF drawings, confirm that calculations and equipment sizes are correct, and answer questions related to electrical design and code compliance. The goal is to ensure these documents are clear, constructible, and fully compliant before construction.
The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with the NEC and experience reviewing electrical designs for commercial or industrial projects. A PE license is preferred but not required. Clear and consistent communication will be important, since this will be an ongoing, multi-month engagement.
The deliverables will include marked-up drawing sets, confirmation of calculation accuracy, and responses to design questions as the project progresses.
