Concept/ Story: This album isn't a concept album but the first and last songs are connected in story. It covers themes of loss, grief, revenge, and hope.
Very simply put, the story follows the main character after his world is destroyed by The Great Architect, a powerful creator and destroyer of worlds. (Think Master hands from Smash Bros.) It begins with a massive volcano that starts a turn of events that plunges the world into eternal winter.
The main character searches far and wide across his destroyed home but his kin have all been killed.
The last song picks up the story again. Over time the main character becomes more powerful and eventually gets revenge and kills The Great Architect, granting he himself the power to create worlds.
The album ends with the main character building a new world, hoping his kin will somehow find him.
General Art Concept: Like in the mock ideas I want to depict The Great Architect (giant hovering hands) around the frozen planet. I was thinking the background could be simple dark space with some stars or distant objects.
Details: I want the hands to be semi realistic but also capture the fantasy element/ depict darkness and power.
For the planet I want there to be little ruins or detail that could be visible such as the huge volcano. Maybe a cracked ice effect on the planet would look cool too.
