Set design needed for magic show
Budget: £10 – £850 GBP
Hello everyone!
I’m looking for stage set design for a fun stage magic show.
We’re looking for a quirky ‘house’ design - much in the style of ‘A Play That Goes Wrong,’ ‘The Addams Family,’ ‘Beetlejuice,’ ‘The Ladykillers’ etc. Think fun warped lines and rather than everything being neat and proper.
Some elements to include would be a double door, staircase, piano, coat rack etc.
We have a set of flats currently (a rear wall and three flats on the each side), so we’d be looking to reuse these ideally by rewrapping the fronts, and add in some extra elements.
Here are some pictures of the set we currently have along with drawing so you can see the scale of the current flats we still want to use. You’ll notice in these photos that there is a black ‘space’ above the top of the set. It would be ideal to make the most out of this, probably using a printed cloth, so if you could factor this into the design as well, that would be brilliant.

We’re looking for applicants to submit their design idea/sketch. From that, we’ll choose the person who’s design we like the most and will work with you and the set builders to have it created.
