Illustrate Kids’ History/Letters Picturebook
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I have a very basic children’s story that introduces readers under eight to a nation's specific history. What I need now is vibrant, full-colour artwork—realistic and detailed while still bright and friendly—that carries the educational message without overwhelming young eyes. I’ll provide page-by-page art direction, reference images, and the final text; you turn those notes into polished illustrations ready for both print and digital release.
Deliverables
• Character and environment concept sketches for my approval
• Final high-resolution CMYK illustrations for every page (layered PSD or AI, plus flattened TIFF/PNG)
• Print-ready cover design, including back and spine
• All source files with full usage rights handed over on completion
Acceptance criteria
Artwork follows approved sketches, leaves text areas clear, maintains colour consistency, and is supplied at 300 dpi with bleed and trim lines suitable for standard picture-book printing.
