Multi-Cam Basketball Broadcasting – Computer Vision

The goal is to develop a “media gateway” device able to receive a panoramic video from 2 cameras (for wider field of view) in RTSP/RTMP format and produce “professional-like” broadcast video to OBS to be further mixed, add graphics and etc and late streamed to Youtube (RTMP). To do so, the system will be able to crop the original panoramic video in a way that “follows the action” and simulates the panning movement. This production needs to be fully automatic, with no human intervention beyond activating / deactivating the stream and calibration to the field.
