We are seeking exceptional freelance talent to join our core team for an aggressive 3-month sprint to build a functional Proof of Concept (POC).
The Mission (Your 3-Month Challenge):
Your objective is to rapidly develop a highly accurate AI model. We will maintain a sharp focus to ensure we meet our 90-day target.
Asset Type: A specific class of standardized, high-value objects.
Primary Goal: To build a Computer Vision model that can analyze high-resolution imagery and accurately classify minute internal and surface-level anomalies.
Target: Achieve high accuracy on a complex, fine-grained classification task where the difference between categories is extremely subtle.
We are hiring for two key, parallel roles:
AI / Machine Learning Engineer (Fine-Grained Classification Specialist)
Data Engineer (Secure Cloud & Data Pipeline Architect)
1. Role: AI / Machine Learning Engineer
Responsibilities:
Design and train sophisticated Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models for a challenging fine-grained visual classification task.
Implement advanced image pre-processing and data augmentation techniques suitable for high-resolution, nuanced imagery.
Continuously experiment with and optimize model architectures to push the boundaries of accuracy.
Develop and implement rigorous validation and testing protocols.
Deploy the final model as a secure, efficient API.
Required Skills:
Proven expertise in Computer Vision, with a portfolio showcasing work on fine-grained classification or anomaly/defect detection projects.
Expert-level skills in Python and Deep Learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.

2. Role: Data Engineer

Optimize data storage (SQL/NoSQL) and retrieval for ultra-fast training cycles.
Build efficient data loaders that feed processed data seamlessly to the machine learning models.
Required Skills:
Proven track record as a Data Engineer, with specific experience in building infrastructure for ML/AI projects.
Expert-level Python scripting abilities.
Deep knowledge of cloud services (e.g., GCP equivalents).
Strong SQL skills and experience managing large-scale databases.
