You need to identify all of the possible vulnerabilities that may exist within them. All vulnerabilities need to be proven through example. State exactly what investigations you do and what you find. You should also provide a number of recommendations on how those vulnerabilities could be mitigated. No marks are awarded for demonstrating an exploit.
Use the following structure for your report:
Introduction (e.g. background of vulnerability discovery and exploitation, how the report is structured)
Vulnerability analysis of the two given files (e.g. identify vulnerabilities within the given files along with supporting examples)
Recommendations on how vulnerabilities could be mitigated (e.g. at the coding level)
Structure and reference
The overall length of the report (excluding appendices and references) should be 2,500 words, this means that the margin for the report is between 2,250-2,750 words.
