Looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Expert – Mobile, Blockchain, and Network Defense
Project Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced freelance cybersecurity engineer to design and deploy a high-assurance personal security environment. The focus is on protection against advanced persistent threats (APT), including NSO (Pegasus), zero-click exploits, blockchain deanonymization, and mobile/network surveillance.
This is a discreet and sensitive engagement with potential for long-term collaboration.
Applicants must demonstrate real-world experience defending against sophisticated, targeted threats.
Required Expertise
Mobile & Endpoint Security
Experience detecting and mitigating Pegasus, Predator, Hermit, or similar threats
Use of mobile forensic tools such as MVT, Frida, MobSF
Hardening Android/iOS devices using GrapheneOS or CalyxOS
Securing baseband, rooting detection, and sandboxing
Network & Infrastructure Security
Setup and configuration of IDS/NIDS tools: Suricata, Zeek, OSSEC/Wazuh
Traffic analysis with Wireshark, tcpdump
VPN configuration and deployment: WireGuard, OpenVPN, pfSense
Advanced firewalling, DNS over HTTPS, Tor bridges, VLAN isolation
Blockchain Privacy & Transaction Obfuscation
Anonymizing crypto transactions using tools like Tornado Cash, Wasabi, Samourai, or Monero
Understanding of mixers, stealth addresses, CoinJoin, and privacy-preserving protocols
Experience with blockchain forensics and counter-tracing techniques
Securing private keys and cold wallets
Encrypted Communications & Identity Separation
Hands-on experience with GPG/PGP, Signal CLI, Matrix/Element, Session
Expertise in anonymous identity management and compartmentalized environments
Familiarity with secure operating systems: Qubes OS, Whonix, Tails
Forensics & Malware Analysis
Skilled with Ghidra, IDA Pro, Volatility, Autopsy, FTK
Reverse engineering and threat investigation capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash)
Experience with Ansible or Terraform for security automation
Background in offensive security, red teaming, or threat intelligence
