SOC specialist

Duration: 6 Months+
Shift : 9 am - 6 pm IST

Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring:
Monitor security alerts and incidents using security information and event management (SIEM) tools.
Conduct real-time analysis of security alerts and incidents, identifying and mitigating potential threats.
Incident Response:
Coordinate and participate in incident response activities, including detection, analysis, containment, eradication, and recovery.
Document and report security incidents, providing detailed analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Threat Intelligence:
Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
Integrate threat intelligence into daily monitoring activities to enhance detection capabilities.
Vulnerability Management:
Assist in identifying and assessing vulnerabilities, working closely with the vulnerability management team.
Provide recommendations for remediation and track progress on vulnerability resolution.
Log Analysis:
Analyze security event logs to identify anomalous activities and potential security incidents.
Develop and implement log correlation rules to enhance detection capabilities.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a holistic approach to cybersecurity.
Communicate effectively with team members and management on security incidents and risks.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of SOC processes, procedures, and incident response playbooks.
Continuous Improvement:
Participate in regular reviews and assessments of SOC processes and tools, providing suggestions for improvement.
Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of SOC capabilities.
