Remote Sys Admin gig

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator (5-10+ years) to assist with ongoing vulnerability remediation. This role primarily involves working with Windows Server environments, Intune, Azure Active Directory (AAD), and hybrid setups.

The ideal candidate will have the expertise to handle vulnerability remediation tasks, manage servers and workstations, and tackle general maintenance. You will receive vulnerability reports generated by scanners, which typically translate into patching, applying updates, or making slight configuration changes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform server OS updates and application patching.
Manage VMware hypervisor environments.
Maintain backup operations using Veeam.
Manage end-user devices and tickets related to workstation issues.
Provide support for Intune and Microsoft 365 administration.
Remediate vulnerabilities based on provided reports, focusing on patching and configuration adjustments.
Conduct weekly calls to review tickets and discuss progress.
Work on tickets casually during evening/night hours (US time).
Required Skills & Experience:

5-10+ years of experience as a System Administrator.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
Proficiency with Intune and Azure AAD/Hybrid environments.
Experience with VMware hypervisors and backup solutions (preferably Veeam).
Familiarity with vulnerability scanning and remediation processes.
Ability to manage and resolve end-user workstation issues.
Willingness to work during evening/night US time.
Strong communication skills for weekly calls.
Preferred Skills:

Experience with Microsoft 365 management and support.
Knowledge of security best practices and applying security configurations.
